Both boys and girls soccer moved on to the round of 16 with decisive wins at home Wednesday night.
OA boys soccer defeated Revere 4-1 while the girls beat Nashoba Regional 5-0.
The boys got on the board first just 10 minutes in after Josh Ferreira scored after a well placed corner kick from Cyrus Hanjani
OA struck again to make it 2-0 in the first half when the ball bounced off a teammate from a corner kick and Nick Babanikas was able to score.
Babanikas extended OA’s lead to 3-0 in the second half after a nice feed from another corner kick. Revere was able to score a goal late in the second half to make it 3-1. The game was sealed after Josh Ferreira sent a penalty kick past Revere’s goalie to make it 4-1 and send OA to the second round.
The boys play their next game Saturday (11.8) at 5 p.m. against Sharon. The girls play Sunday (11.9) at 4 p.m. Both games are at Muscato Stadium.
