At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12th, the Oliver Ames volleyball team swept King Philip in their Final Four match up. This sweep leads Oliver Ames back to the division II state championship, this time determined and hungry for a win after losing last year to Westborough.
The first set of their game against King Philip started close, finishing 25-17. Notable performances include Molly Milliken, who had an incredible game from start to finish, and Chelsea Wagner, with tons of strong kills.
The second set finished 25-18. The tigers had a strong set again, with King Philip remaining behind the whole time. The King Philip Warriors were rattled, with many slip ups and mistakes on serves.
The third set however, was total dominance from Oliver Ames. The tigers dismantled King Philip limb by limb 25-12 and finished strong, with player of the game being Lyla McDonough.
