“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” is one of the best Christmas movies to get that nostalgic holiday season feeling.
This film was made in 1964, and it shows the life of Rudolph. He was the odd one out and ended up becoming one of the most popular reindeer of all time. The movie is made in a classic stop motion style with voice actors playing the characters.
Every time I watch this movie it takes me back to my childhood when I saw it for the first time. I remember watching this movie and feeling a sense of comfort. To me, watching this movie is the start of Christmas.
Although this movie is shorter than the other big Christmas movies, it is definitely a classic. The animation creates a fun way to watch an old movie while also getting that feeling of nostalgia.
This movie has a lot of different themes. Some themes included in the movie are friendship, self-confidence, and perseverance. Friendship is shown when Rudolph became best friends with Clarice who helped him gain confidence within himself.
Throughout the movie there are iconic characters that have a lasting impact on the viewers such as, Rudolph, Hermey, The Abominable Snowman, and Yukon Cornelius who make the movie so much better. These characters all contribute to this movie being the best comfort Christmas movie of all time.
If anyone is looking for a Christmas movie that is cute, nostalgic and just a good watch to satisfy the Christmas spirit, then Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is for you.
