Wrestling
So far, the OA’s Boy’s wrestling team has gone 0-2 in their season. Their last two meets were rough, but also good, their first meet against North Attleboro scoring 21-53. Their second meet happened on Saturday, December 20th at Marshfield. They went against 5 other schools and went 2-3.
Hockey
Boys hockey has started their season strong with 2 commanding wins over their first 2 opponents. They kicked off the season on the road with a 6-2 victory over Newton South. Boys hockey played their first home game of the season against Chicopee and took care of business, beating them 8-2 to move to 2-0 on the season. Girls hockey finds themselves with a 1-0-1 record on the season through their first 2 games. Their first game ended in a 6-0 victory over Stoughton/Sharon followed by a 3-3 tie with Canton.
Winter Track
This past week saw a great start to the 2025-2026 season for the Oliver Ames Winter Track team. There was only one meet that happened this week that saw the Oliver Ames Tigers taking on the North Attleboro Rocketeers. The boys won their matchup with a score of 67-33, being 1-0 to start off the season. The girls also won their side of things, outsourcing North Attleboro 62-37, also starting with a 1-0 record.
Swim
It was a good start to the 2025-2026 season for the Oliver Ames Tigers swim team this past week. Only one meet took place this week seeing the Tigers face off against the Canton Bulldogs. The boys team lost with a score of 70-86, which makes their overall record to 1-1 for the season. The girls team won their meet with a score of 85-66, improving their overall record to 2-0.
Basketball
The Boys Basketball is 2-0 for their record as they have averaged 68 ppg this season and only let up 42.5 points a game this season. They won their first game against Franklin at home as the score was 54-39 and then in the second game the Tigers beat King Phillip on the road 82-46 as they doubled their score. Jacob Lok and Justin Grimaldi and Zaire Maddox and Dylan Pompilus are all the best players. They are looking to keep up this momentum going into the rest of the season. The Girls Basketball is 2-0 for their record as they have averaged 49.5 points a game on the season and only let up 36.5 points a game this season. They won their first game against Franklin on the road 54-35 and then won against King Phillip at home 45-38. Avery Gamble, Maeve Horseman, Mari Rhodes and Olivia Strom are the best players for the Lady Tigers. They are looking to have momentum for the rest of the season as they have started off strong.
