Each week, we ask the Captains of one of OAs sports teams to recommend a teammate of the week, a player who has consistently contributed to the team but doesn’t always get the credit for it.
This week, the OA Boys Basketball captains have named Jack Yelle teammate of the week.
Captain Justin Grimaldi had all of this to say about Jack Yelle.
Q: What has this person done to be teammate of the week?
A: “Jack has always had a positive attitude and mindset going into each practice and he is saying good things.”
Q: How has this person shown how to be a team player?
A: “Jack dives on the floor and he takes a bunch of charges for the team and he does all of the little things.”
Q: In what ways can this person continue to be a good teammate?
A: “He could keep on just lifting up his teammates and making dives on the floor and he does all of the gritty work.”
