Taco Bell was varying in its attendance. At times it was packed with hungry groups of people, and at times it was empty.
The general chatter from the surrounding groups created a natural ambiance that drowned out the low music being played over the speakers.
It’s 7:30, there is a constant flow of people through the drive-thru. Cars pass by the front windows, illuminating the restaurant from their headlights. That’s when the smell arrived.
“We got an order for Rodney. Order for Rodney?”
The order had finally been created and was sitting upon the counter.
The scents of vegetables, spices, drinks, and a whole host of other smells mixed together into an aromatic masterpiece that filled the air. The heat from the sizzling grills in the back pushed a wave of warmth out past the cashier and into the eating area.
The smell only intensified when the bags filled to the brim with delicious spicy flavors made its way to the table. As the products were being relieved from the bag, a radiation of heat wafted over the dining area. The crinkling of the bags quickly overcame the conversations as the food was now in reach.
The wrappers that housed the food were quickly discarded which unveiled all of the colorful and inviting products strewn about the table. The array of food from tacos, burritos, fries, wraps was a salivating sight.
The moment had finally arrived. As the food was being indulged, a combination of every different flavor that Taco Bell has to offer mixed up and created a delicious pallet. Hints of savoriness and spice stung in just the right ways. These feelings were quenched by the fizz of the Baja Blasts.
“Y’know, it was a great experience. It’s a great establishment, great people, great food. Very happy that this one was opened so close to home” junior Will Cunningham said.
The Crunch Wrap Supreme is a hexagon of powerful flavor. Brimming at the seams with seasoned ground beef providing a healthy base layer of protein. Each bite induces the gooey texture of the nacho cheese sauce and sour cream in a warm mixture spread throughout the tostada shell.
The famous Luxe Box came out packed with a wide array of different items inside. The Cheesy Dipping Burritos came dripping in steaming queso with additional sides of spicy ranch to add even more heat to the meal. The Chicken Chalupa sizzled with braised chicken sauced in cheeses, guacamole, and salsas. The Cinnamon Twists topped off the order by bringing a kick of sweetness to combat the waterfall of spice.
“I’m really happy that this is here and that the quality of the food is spectacular. I have no complaints and everything here I would 100% have again and recommend to anyone who hasn’t eaten here yet” junior Nick Hall elated.
