The girls and boys basketball teams for Oliver Ames have a playoff double header on tonight (Feb. 27) at home in the Nixon gymnasium.
The boys, ranked 7 in the power rankings with a record of 18-4, are going against the 26th ranked Canton Bulldogs, who have a record of 10-10. OA has beat Canton twice in the regular season, but the boys are coming of off back-to-back losses as they ended the regular season.
It’s a different story for the girls, who enter the playoffs after winning their last five games, including a win against the 2 seed Whitman-Hanson. The girls enter the playoffs with a 15-5 record and face off against 26th ranked Bedford, who have a 14-7 record.
