This year’s spring style introduces a library-chic style. This new style showcases intelligent and artistic looking sleek outfits, emphasizing professionality. This style includes sweaters, sleek skirts, tights, and boots. While in the past spring has been a beacon for pastels, this year more muted colors are taking the stage. Vogue.com describes the new upcoming styles as full of surprise and vibrancy. 

“The new look is built around functional staples—cardigans, pencil skirts, button-downs, and V-neck sweaters—animated by the element of surprise, like a flash of red peeking out from a printed shirt, or vibrant leather gloves that contrast a more muted color palette”, Vogue said.

If you are not impressed with professionality and minimalism, then the new increase in floral trends are likely to engage you. Flowy and robust floral patterns are predicted to become very popular this spring. These new patterns are confident while embracing the soft nature of spring. The Times fashion magazine discusses this spectrum of minimalistic to retro-inspired floral patterns.

“At the other end of the spectrum is a new interest in bold florals. From Chloé and Celine to Loewe and Rabanne, bright, retro-inspired floral looks were all over the recent catwalks”, The Times said.
