Fresh off the stage after winning Easton’s Finest this week, senior Zack Gilson reflects on the performance that earned him the title.
Q: How does it feel to be crowned Easton’s Finest?
A: It’s an honor. I remember going the last two years and I always thought it was really fun. I’m glad that I got to be a part of it.
Q: How did you prepare for the talent portion?
A: I started learning piano last year. I’ve been teaching myself for a little over a year now. I don’t know, it was just kind of spontaneous and it’s my favorite song. It’s really the only song I can play all the way through, so that’s what I went for.
Q: Were you nervous at all to perform?
A: I was super nervous right before the dance started. Once it got going and everybody was doing their thing, it was a lot more fun.
Q: How did you decide what you wanted to do for the sports act?
A: Originally we were going to do juggling, but then we realized Jacob probably couldn’t do that, so we just had to go fight instead.
Q: Finally, did you enjoy your night?
A: Of course. It was a blast.
