After coming off of a 4-14 season, the boy’s lacrosse team is looking forward to a better season this year. The Boys Lacrosse has a good team including captain Ryan Bille. The head coach for their team is Patrick Healey.
Coach Healey has a lot of good players to use in different situations like Thomas Hern, Christian McNeil, Roman Hobkirk, and Ben Schoenfeld.
Ben is a player who has goals for this season as he just wants to be the player that he can be and he is always pushing himself.
“I just push myself to be the best player I can and push the team to be the best team that we can,” he said.
There is a lot to feel good about going into the season and they are feeling really happy because they have improved in a lot of different facets.
“I feel that there’s definitely some downs, but also that there are some bright spots to look at because we really have the team bonding but maybe it doesn’t translate to the field as much,” Schoenfield said.
The goal for this whole season is to just play our best every game and give us the best shot to compete to win.
“The mindset is to make the playoffs and have a very good regular season and just want to win and create great chemistry between all of our players to have bonding.”
