As senior assassin enters its final rounds, all of the players are equipped with a squirt gun of some kind, but is there one gun everybody is using, or is it mostly unplanned?
When asked about how he got his gun, Nick Poulos, who made it into the second round, grabbed his water gun from a friend.
“I don’t actually know what brand my guns are… I got one from my friend, who I still owe $5, but I’m not gonna pay it for him. And the other was from my brother who played a few years ago.”
Most seniors seem to opt for a smaller handheld squirt gun that they can hold with one hand.
“My friend gave me this, it’s a little orange squirt gun. The brand of it is X-Shot.” said Eden Clewer.
Some people, like Katherine Donohue, opt instead decide to use electric, faster shooting squirt guns.
“I’m using an electric one, I got it from my friend who got out in round one. It makes really cool noises and flashes lights when you shoot it.”
Jonah Bornstein, who made it into the second round, is also still playing, had a very similar answer to most of the seniors asked about their guns.
“Mine is my sister’s, from when she played senior assassin. It’s like… Rectangle shaped. It works, but it leaks a little and I’m not really sure what the brand is.”
It seems that in terms of squirt guns, a lot of seniors end up using whatever they have in their garage already, or are given by their friends, or family who have played before them. The clear winner in terms of size is a smaller water gun that can be carried around everywhere. Obviously, not much planning goes into most players’ decision to pick a squirt gun, and most of the time it seems like they are using whatever they can find.
