Kelly’s Place, located on 292 East Main Street right over the Norton line, is a cozy breakfast and lunch restaurant known for its delicious breakfast food.
The restaurant is on the smaller side, often having to wait for a table in the early hours of the day on the weekends. There is a small counter that has seating options and multiple booths and tables as well. The staff is very friendly with a mix between older people and young.
There are many options you can choose from on the menu. My go to is the “3’s company” which includes eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, homefries and toast. For the eggs, I went with scrambled eggs. They were your standard eggs but they were cooked just right. The bacon was crispy, giving off a nice crunch. Next was the sausage. These were made perfectly with a crispy texture on the outside and juicy on the inside. The plate was filled with homefries, each tasting delicious. They were seasoned perfectly and even tasted better when you put some ketchup on them. The toast was nothing special but it had a light crisp to it which was perfect.
I also tried what many call the typical breakfast food: the pancake. It was a large pancake that filled the plate that it was on. When you mix the syrup and butter with the warm and fluffy pancake it tasted delicious.
If you are looking for a nice breakfast place to enjoy a good meal, Kelly’s place is the place for you. This restaurant was fantastic and I recommend it to everyone.
