Patrick Dunlap is not only a captain of the track team, but an extremely funny and kind individual who has aspirations in environmental studies.

Patrick is going into his senior year for track and as a captain he inspires many others to compete, however, he has his own inspirations as well.

“My coaches have really pushed me to be better and keep going with it. Seeing how some of my teammates are locked in, they’re also good role models for me.”

In terms of career, Patrick is extremely interested in studying the environment.

“I’ve seen the way the environment is being harmed, and the fact that we have a lot of issues regarding the environment, so I want to help out with that a little bit when I can.”

Patrick strongly believes that if people aren’t doing a sport, they should join track. 

“I feel like people have a ton of fun with it, even if they aren’t necessarily good at it. It also really helps people to work on themselves.”

Besides all of his track accomplishments and dreams, Patrick Dunlap is a great and funny guy. 

“What happens when you mix a bubbly personality with a ruggedly good looking man? That’s what makes me me. That’s my answer.”
