IT Welcome To Derry is an incredible horror show about the IT movies and book by Stephen King. New episodes come out every Sunday and it is a scary show that features psychological horror and other types of horror elements involving the psyche. 

The original IT is about a cosmic being that came to earth in a small town called Derry. The cosmic being, later known as IT, takes the form as Pennywise the famous clown and terrifies people.

The IT monster is a really detailed being and needs some understanding to get to know the show. Certain things that would seem confusing to the average person who hasn’t read the book, IT is unkillable and being unafraid doesn’t mean you’re safe. IT also loves to play with its food, finding it entertaining.

IT can manipulate people and reality to its will (this appears a lot in the show). IT can also shapeshift, so whenever you see a scary looking character, that is IT. And IT will appear every time something scary happens. 

The movies were a good entertaining piece of media, but there is a really big problem with them being they don’t accurately show IT like how the character is portrayed in the book. 

People tend to think about IT as just Pennywise (IT’s favorite form to shapeshift), but IT is something else. The something else that IT becomes is a cosmic entity older than the universe. 

The movies also barely go over IT’s origin story and what it is, but you can see a little bit in the second movie 2019 IT chapter 2. The movie goes over it so you can understand the lore on a basic level. 

The first movie, the 2017 version of IT, doesn’t really explain what IT is. The 2017 movie mainly features IT as the form known as Pennywise the clown, leading people to think Pennywise is IT. This is incorrect and gets cleared up in IT chapter 2. 

The very first iteration of the IT movie was the 1990 “IT” which as well doesn’t explain what IT is. IT is mostly just a scary movie with a supernatural clown, which is good for its time but overshadowed by modern IT films and media.

In 2017, fans got the remake of “IT”, which is the most popular movie including the character IT. The movie has an eerie feel to it and briefly explains what IT really is. This movie deserves all the hype it gets. 

2 years later we got “IT chapter 2” made in 2019. This movie goes over what IT is and is a scarier movie with the now adult main characters having to find a way to deal with IT. This movie is a great extension to the IT franchise.

IT Welcome to Derry is a great show that explains what IT is like how IT is in the book. IT Welcome to Derry is also a really entertaining show. It’s a horror show with some great horror scenes and really shows what IT can do by manipulating the people of Derry, the small town in Maine which now belongs to IT.

IT Welcome to Derry also is a more accurate representation of the book IT written in 1985. If you’re not interested in the book you can sit back and watch the show. It portrays everything in the novel without reading 1,000 pages. 

The show became popular on social media, being of interest to many people, it’s all over tiktok bringing popularity back to the IT series, making people rewatch the movies. There are also clips of the movie on X (formally known as twitter) a very popular social media network. 

IT welcome to Derry is a hit among young adult and mature audiences. The scary show really is a good demonstration on what the IT book was like. The IT book was a good long scary book with a lot of memorable moments and people are glad it’s getting the representation it deserves. 

Overall, the show is a really good piece of work and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good horror show, especially people who enjoy IT movies or books.
