Hockey 

Boys hockey now has a 3-3 record after their first 6 games. They have lost to Bridgewater-Raynham, Southeastern and Attleboro. Girls hockey is 1-3-1 on the season. Their latest game was a 5-2 loss to Billerica. Boys hockey will play Mansfield at home on January 7th. Girls hockey’s next game is against Franklin on the 7th.  

Basketball

The Boys Basketball are 6-0 on the season as they have averaged 68.7 points on offense every game and they have only let up 46.2 points on defense. They got a win against Mansfield at home 59-58 and then in the 4th game they got a win against Cardinal Spellman at home 81-55. Their 5th and 6th wins came against Dighton-Rehoboth and Foxboro where they won 87-45 against Dighton Rehoboth and 49-34 against Foxboro. Everyone has been playing well together. They are having a great season so far and looking to keep their win streak alive. 

The Girls Basketball are 3-3 on the season as they have averaged 43.5 points per game on offense and they have let up 45.2 points a game on defense. They lost the game against Mansfield on the road 42-23 and and they lost against Walpole at home 56-53. Their next game was at home against Silver Lake where they won 49-43 and then on the road next game against Foxboro where they lost 57-37. Avery Gamble, Mari Rhodes, Maeve Horsman and Olivia Strom and some key players off the bench have been a big part in the team’s success. They are looking to have a better season the rest of the way but overall they are not playing bad.

Wrestling

Oliver Ames Wrestling now has a record of 6-6. They had meets against Brockton, Plymouth North and Weymouth on January 3rd. They beat Brockton 48-23 and Plymouth North 60-18. They lost to Weymouth 48-30. Their next meet is on January 7th against Canton.
