At the new Taco Bell in Easton, on a Thursday night with $52 split between three people, you can do lots of damage to both the food and your stomach.
The main thing most people get from Taco Bell is obviously the tacos. There are a lot of different tacos, each being fully customizable. The ones we selected were the Cantina Crispy Chicken Tacos, a Supreme Chalupa, and a Doritos Locos Taco.
The Cantina Crispy Chicken Tacos are extremely tasty. They have a crunchy shell covered in melted cheese. Inside they have tasty chicken with Taco Bell’s cantina sauce, which is both creamy and spicy. The flavors make a good combination and earn the Cantina Crispy Chicken Tacos a rating of 8.5 out of 10.
Chalupas are another staple of Taco Bell and another very popular order for many people. It is a supreme variation featuring your choice of meat, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce. The main selling point of the chalupa is the tortilla, which is fried and makes its taste and texture different from a regular tortilla. A very delicious item, as well as a classic, it gets a rating of 9 out of 10.
The Doritos Locos Taco is another item that many people think of when they think of Taco Bell. It’s a regular hard shelled taco, except the tortilla is made of Doritos. The nacho cheese shell and taco flavors combine to earn a rating of 7 out of 10.
However, when you go to Taco Bell, you don’t have to just settle for a taco. They have a few different menus that feature many different special items.
One of these items is a fan favorite, the Crunchwrap. It has a tortilla wrapping, and inside it has meat, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes. Right in the center of the hard shell that gives the whole thing a great crunch. The rating for the crunchwrap is going to be an 8 out of 10.
A new addition to the menu are the Cheesy Dipping Burritos. They’re miniature burritos that you can pick a sauce to dip them in. They’re very basic, and similar to a lot of items on the menu, so they get a 6 out of 10.
Another item on their special menu is the Mexican pizza. This is one of the more creative items on the menu, as it is four large pieces of tortilla chips with many different customizable toppings. It doesn’t look the most appetizing, however surprisingly does taste very good. It’s a nice texture and flavor that earns a score of 7.5 out of 10.
There is also another beloved special on the menu, the Nacho Fries. They’ve been a limited item a few different times and every time they rerelease are extremely loved. The spicy seasoning on the fries compliments the nacho cheese sauce very well, and gets the nacho fries a rating of 8/10.
With all of this food, you’re going to want a drink. With the combos you can order, or just on its own, there is a large selection of beverages to choose from.
The staple drink of Taco Bell is the Mountain Dew Baja Blast. Originally, the drink was a Taco Bell exclusive, but after years and years of begging for the drink, they released it in stores as well. Due to the great tropical taste, and overwhelming consensus of people loving it, the Baja Blast gets a 10/10.
A new, exclusive drink is the Mountain Dew Baja Blast midnight. An interesting twist on the beloved drink brings a slightly different flavor and a purple color as opposed to the regular, teal color of the Baja Blast. The new drink is tasty, but not as good as the original, gaining a 7/10.
To finish your full course Taco Bell meal, you can also choose from some of the desserts they have. A common side that can be chosen with most meals are the Cinnamon Twists. A tasty, crunchy twist that gets a rating of 6/10. You can also get another cinnamon flavored dessert, which are the Cinnabon delights. They are small round cinnamon flavored donuts with a cream filling.
