OA students can’t turn a corner without being faced with wires, ladders, and unfamiliar faces of the electrical workers who have filled our halls for a few weeks now. They seem to be everywhere, but nobody seems to know what they are doing.
According to Mrs. Cavanaugh, what they are doing is rewiring our building to have the same system as Blanche Ames. The goal is for all schools to have the same wiring system, including door locking mechanisms, key fobs, and fire alarm locking down as well.
The completion of this electrical work will lead to an even more unified and secure school district in terms of security. Just make sure that you watch your step for wires when walking through the halls!
