The school year is built on many mixed emotions. Ranging from a longing sense of relief, to an overwhelming sadness, the bittersweet nature of saying goodbye to the seniors has set in for the junior class here at OA.
After talking to a lot of juniors, we found out that there are a lot of mixed feelings towards the coming departure of the senior class.
“Um, school’s gonna feel a bit emptier, obviously, you know. But I’m kind of excited. You kinda put me on the spot here, I don’t have strong feelings about this” said Elimane Diop.
“I’m so happy. Yeah. Because there’ll be more parking. Keep it a buck, I don’t really care,” Michael Waterman said.
“I’m gonna feel no different. No different. I don’t interact with any of them,” Alexa Spinola said.
Throughout the time that the juniors have been here at OA, a lot of them have built special friendships with people in the senior class. Due to this fact, the juniors wanted to shout out specific seniors that made an impact on them over the years.

“Some seniors I’ll miss, definitely gonna be missing Jonah Bornstein. For sure. Definitely gonna be missing Dylan Israel. I’ve wrestled with them since my freshman year, all three years. I know I’ve been pretty close with them” Sam Litwin explained.

“Like no one’s gonna miss Pat Dunlap. But you know Cam Butler, I will miss. Me and him got through psych together. No one’s gonna miss Pat Dunlap, I mean nobody will” Justin Silverman joked.
“I’m gonna miss Patrick Dunlap man. He’s uh, he’s just inspirational. You know, he’s been my captain two years in a row now. Definitely influenced my life, and my athletics” explained Ben Mazzuca.
“One senior I’m going to miss next year is my quarterback Luke Fernald. He was, just Luke Fernald. He’s the only one I’m really gonna miss” said Ben Walter.
