Throughout the past few years AI has been advancing, this seems nice but isn’t that good for student learning. 

AI has been getting smarter at a fast rate and this is not good for students’ education because of the use of AI in schools. Students use AI to do their work for them which prohibits learning and will harm their chances in college. 

Luckily tools such as turnitin.com are made to help teachers see if a piece of work is made using AI or not, and school wifi blocks out most AI chat bots from being used. 

AI can not be the future of our generation because it will put a student higher than they should be and will harm their learning. Colleges such as Bridgewater State University require students to do placement exams to find where they should go for their college experience and if AI puts a student where they shouldn’t be, their college experience will be much more troubling for them. 

AI development needs to be slown or halted and not be on school chromebooks so children can obtain a proper education and grow up to be who they want to be and be proud that they did all of this. 

Asking a teacher for help is what their job is not AI’s. AI can be wrong but our brilliant teachers know far more about subjects because they studied them and they will help you. 

AI has its place and a school is not that place, students aren’t learning anymore because of AI giving them the answers. Artificial intelligence is not the answer Actual intelligence is. 

AI is affecting student learning for the worse making people less creative and more lazy and less social, this is a proper problem. Instead of using AI, ask a human for help, look through websites and accept  that to live life you can’t be lazy. 

Schools should not welcome AI for the effect it takes on students. Ask a person for help because a teacher will always answer you just have to walk up and ask if they are willing to help. AI has a place but school is not one.
