Each week, a player for Oliver Ames is chosen as the teammate of the week. This week, OA baseball’s Jack Giovanello has been chosen as the teammate of the week.
Giovanello has had a fantastic season so far, leading the team with 9 RBIs and a .350 batting average. Giovanello has come through multiple times in clutch spots and has provided a big boost to the lineup.
Giovanello attributes his recent success to multiple factors, one being his pregame routine.
“Some things I like to do before games is to stretch really well and not overthink the game too much.”
At 6-8 on the season, Giovanello and the rest of the team will continue to work hard and build some momentum heading into the back end of the season.
