Each week, we ask the captains of one of OAs sports teams to recommend a teammate of the week, a player who has consistently contributed to the team but doesn’t always get the glory
Kit Perron, Jr, has been a player the captains had faith and confidence to say she showed her best performance and humble attitude on the team. As teammate of the week, Perron got her 100th goal on 05/05/26. To be able to conquer such a big milestone like that, it requires positive attitudes, determination, and teamwork.
“I have shown teamwork by communicating with my teammates, helping whenever someone needs support, and always putting the team first. I make sure to stay encouraging, include everyone, and do my part to help the team succeed.”
When Perron was asked what she does to continue the role of being a good teammate she has responded with many positive aspects..
“I can continue being a good teammate by keeping a positive attitude, working hard, and supporting everyone consistently. I also want to improve my leadership, communicate even more, and continue encouraging my teammates during both good and challenging moments.”
To be a good teammate is to show there will always be ups and downs and no one can control that. It’s to show your fellow teammates how to shake it off, keep moving forward with a positive attitude, and improve from those mistakes.
“I have tried to bring positive energy every day at practices and games while always supporting my teammates. I encourage others when they are doing well and help lift people up when things get difficult. I also work hard, stay focused, and try to lead by example both on and off the field.”
